EuroVent Exhaust Extraction

EuroVent exhaust extraction is JohnDow's shop ventilation line, covering vehicle exhaust removal and general air circulation for the bay. It spans overhead rail and inground exhaust systems, motorized and sliding crab hose reels, telescoping drops, tailpipe adapters, and HVLS ceiling fans such as the WC5 and WS3, along with the exhaust fans and hose accessories that support them.

EuroVent's exhaust extraction equipment is built around one decision a shop makes once and lives with for years: how exhaust gets routed out of the bay, and what moves air once it's there.

Choosing a routing method

Three physical approaches cover most bay layouts. An overhead rail system, built from aluminum rail components with sliding crab hose reels and telescoping drops, keeps hose runs off the floor and works well where ceiling height allows it. An in-ground exhaust system routes hose beneath the floor, and an out-the-door exhaust system carries fumes directly outside without an overhead run. Which one fits depends on existing ceiling clearance, floor construction, and how many bays need to share the same run.

Hose reels and diameters

Hose reels come in motorized and fixed configurations, with the motorized line offered as a 4-, 5-, or 6-inch reel or as a heavy-duty motorized reel for higher-volume extraction. Tailpipe adapters and exhaust hose accessories are sized to match whichever reel and diameter a bay already runs.

Air circulation

Beyond exhaust removal, the category includes general air movement: the WC5 five-blade HVLS fan and the WS3 three-blade HVLS fan (rated for 16- to 24-foot ceilings) circulate air across a whole shop floor, while the VUSF exhaust fan and AF cast aluminum pressure blower handle more localized ventilation.
